Introduction

GamUp ("we," "our," or "us") operates the GamUp mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Profile Photos: Optional profile pictures you upload
• Location Data: Precise location (with your explicit permission) to help you discover nearby football matches. You may disable location access at any time through your device settings.

Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: App usage statistics, crash reports, performance data
• Log Data: IP address, access times, app features used

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the App functionality
• Match you with nearby football games based on your location
• Send push notifications about match updates (with your permission)
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests

User-Generated Content and Moderation

Certain information within the App is created by users, such as match listings, profiles, and related content.

This content may be reported by users using in-app reporting tools. Reported content may be reviewed by GamUp’s support team and, when necessary, removed or restricted in order to comply with our Terms of Service and applicable laws.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service Providers

• Supabase: Database and authentication services (data stored in EU/US regions)
• Google Maps: Location services for match discovery
• OAuth Providers: Google and Facebook for authentication (if you choose to use social login)
• Crash Reporting: Sentry or similar services for app stability monitoring

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or to comply with legal process, protect rights, property, or safety of GamUp, users, or the public, and prevent fraud or security threats.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App’s services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account data and user-generated content are deleted or anonymized upon account deletion, unless retention is required by law.
